Geek hero and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates says he has been using Windows 8 and is “very pleased with it”. We are not sure if he was expected to say differently – he might not be heavily involved with Microsoft anymore, but he is still very much with the company.Gates was asked for his opinion during an AP interview about his Foundation’s key role in a new global campaign against polio.
Despite concerns among game developers and hardware manufacturers, Gates believes the new OS will be a “big deal” and hardware partners are doing great things to take advantage of [its] feature.”
Windows 8 releases on October 26.
